One Saturday in November, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts went around putting door hangers on doors. The people who live in the houses put food out on their doorsteps. The next Saturday, we went back and picked-up the food. We do this to help the poor. We get canned and boxed food. Then we sort the food. Last, we ship the food to St. Vincent DePaul Society. Scouting for food is hard work, but it is really fun. It also is for a very good cause!
